To celebrate Buddha's Birthday, which falls on May 8 this year, the Busan Lotus Lantern Festival is promoting the nation's Buddhist culture in Korea's second-largest city through interactive and other events at Song Sang-hyeon Square. Starting with the opening ceremony, the event features events such as exhibitions of traditional lanterns, traditional cultural experiences and writing wishes on lanterns.
